5mt Iron Ore Pelletizing Plant

The MaadKoush Iron Ore Pelletizing Plant, situated across 37 hectares in the Persian Gulf Mining and Metal Industry Special Economic Zone (PGMISEZ), is a state-of-the-art facility designed to produce premium-quality iron ore pellets. Commencing operations in early 2020 with an initial capacity of 2.5 million metric tons per annum, the plant is currently in the process of executing its second phase.

Distinguishing itself through the utilization of the Grate Kiln technology, the pelletizing process involves a preheat traveling grate, a rotary kiln, and an annular cooler. This method ensures superior pellet quality, characterized by high compressive strength, making them ideal for direct reduction or blast furnace feed. The Grate-Kiln system, known for its energy efficiency, recycles gases from the cooler to the kiln and grate, contributing to reduced environmental impact and operational costs.
